Travel has been a passion of mine my whole life. When I was sixteen, my French class offered a Spring Break trip to Paris. I saved my money from my after-school job and put down the deposit before asking my parents. Then I made a presentation to my parents about the importance of travel on young minds. When I finished, my father was so impressed, he paid for the remainder of my trip and gave me my deposit back. From that first trip to Paris, I was a goner. I lived in London for a year as a University student and would go on to spend time down under in Australia.
When the time came for me to marry the love of my life, I knew the only choice was a destination wedding. We tied the knot in the beautiful Dominican Republic. The day was fantastic and filled with friends, family, and love. (You can see the details from my special day here.) I am passionate about helping to create that feeling for our Esprit Errant guests and destination wedding couples.
I am a Project Manager by trade with 10 years of project management experience in the IT and banking finance space, so you can be assured your trip will be well organized and exceptionally executed. I have also received my CTA (Certified Travel Associate) certification from the Travel Institute in September 2020.
Authentic, personal experiences that open hearts and eyes are the best travel experiences. At Esprit Errant we are family and our goal is to curate journeys for our guests that feed their souls and leave them forever changed.
I always wanted to travel, a long love affair with history feeding an interest in other cultures and their backgrounds and where they came from. When I couldn’t afford to do travel in my youth, I instead opted to enter the world of restaurants. There I was exposed to people from all different cultures and got to sate my thirst for exposure to how others lived a little, one homemade tortilla or bao bun at a time.
When Charity and I met, my dreams of going out into the world and experiencing other cultures and cuisines first hand were finally realized and I was hooked after that.
I would annoy her on each trip we went on by watching the way locals worked rather than enjoying our vacations, admiring and critiquing the intricate dance of service and hospitality. When we would go on adventures I was always the most excited to get to eat the way the locals did, catching and cooking fresh tropical fish, hacking open coconuts, basking in the smell of a homemade meat smoker.
I love food. My mom was a chef in NYC and I’ve been a chef for over 14 years and have organized anything from intimate couple’s dinners to large wedding receptions and beyond. Quality is everything to me, and I only offer the best.
I curate culinary experiences that don't just feed you physically they feed your soul too.
